Comic: Hey Paisanos!

(Click for better view. Blogger's being stupd)

This is the comic I've been talking about.

First off, for all you Sony fanboys out there, this is just a joke. If this will be a recurring thing (hopefully), I'll be probably making fun of the Wii Vitality Sensor next. So, if you're one of those people who take these sort of things too seriously, I have some advice: don't.

Second, for those of you that don't get the joke, I'm basically saying Sony's ripping off Nintendo and Microsoft with a "wand" motion-sensitive controller, and relies on a camera for interaction.

Lastly, I'd like to give a big thanks out to the artist of this fine work, Staffan. His deviantART account is: http://stengner.deviantart.com/

Once again, thanks Staffan!

(Note: I do realize it's a bit late, but Staffan says he's been busy)

RELEASE THE BOGUS

Nintendo releases Movie Service

Wii MenuImage via Wikipedia

Yes, that's right: Nintendo has released a Movie On-Demand service kinda like what the PS3 and Xbox 360 have... only in Japan though.

Is it me, or do the Japanese sometimes just do this to torment us? Not only do they get Japan-exclusive games, but now only they get cool stuff like this too. I can just imagine Satoru Iwata rolling around in his big pile of money, laughing at all of us.

Or, they could just be using Japan as a test market for all of this.

If it does come to America, it could mean the beginning of Nintendo trying to catch up to Microsoft and Sony. And if doesn't, it could just be the Japanese keeping all the good stuff for themselves again.

Reggie Fils-Amie's Reaction to Natal

It appears that good ol' Reggie has grown a mustache, and is discussing the Project Natal with Nintendo of Germany's board of directors, as seen in this video:

Ok, fine, that's just Hitler. Yes, it appears that Natal has its own video in the the Hitler Downfall Video YouTube meme. Der Führer doesn't seem very happy.

It also appears that Left 4 Dead 2 has a Hitler video of its own as well

New Super Mario Bros. Wii

Another... "interesting" game from Nintendo is New Super Mario Bros Wii. Most gamers have played a Mario Bros side-scroller, but not one like this.

This one's most notable feature is the ability to play with up to 3 other friends offline. It seems like a good idea, but I can imagine it being abused quickly.

Welcome to Super Mario Assholes.

While one can try to work together to beat the game in the fastest time possible, people who have played it said that it's more fun to try to hoard all the items, jump on people, and throw them into pits rather than actually help other players. If you die, you get encased in a bubble, which the other players can save you (if they want to). Overall, it seems like a good idea, definitely better than last year.
